Commentary - Christian Bale should be winning this award, but alas, after SAG, BAFTA, and the Globe, Rami Malek is on a sweep. Even voters who didn't like Bohemian Rhapsody loved Malek's performance, and he has turned his director's controversy into sympathy. He's got this one in the bag.

Commentary - Colman's BAFTA win makes this race closer than previously thought. But the Brits love Colman, who has won many of their television awards. I think stateside the lack of campaigning (due to filming of the next season of The Crown), and the fact that Glenn Close, who won SAG, Critics Choice, and the Globe, is so overdue for an Oscar, will be too much for her to overcome and surprise.
