SXSW 2019: Jordan Peele's Us Premieres to Rave Reviews
Jordan Peele's Us kicked off this year's SXSW festival, in the same manner a A Quiet Place last year. Will Us get the same level of response as A Quiet Place or Peele's last horror film Get Out? So far, the response has been fantastic. It is being called terrifying, hilarious, culturally relevant. So far, its Metacritic score is almost on par with Get Out. In particular, I am hearing a lot about Lupita Nyong'o's performance, which is said to be top-notch. I am not normally a horror fan, but I am looking forward to seeing this later this month.
